    While there’s currently no cure for Duchenne muscular dystrophy, there are a few treatment options that have shown promise in improving quality of life for patients. Learn how exercise and physical therapy, as well as gene-targeted treatments like exon skipping and microdystrophin replacement, are expanding the therapeutic landscape for this disease with Dr. Nancy Kuntz. Dr. Kuntz is an attending physician at the Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago and the Medical Director of the Mazza Foundation Neuromuscular Program.
